Lara Kalapiš is a Serbian jazz vocalist known for her warm, intimate interpretations of jazz standards and her blend of jazz, classical, and Balkan musical influences. Based between Serbia and Austria, she has appeared in concert series and club performances across the regional jazz scene, including broadcasts on Radio Television of Serbia’s “Džez petkom” (“Jazz Fridays”) concert program. Her developing debut project, Ballads, explores torch songs through richly layered arrangements combining strings with traditional jazz instrumentation.
